- dot and spread 1 inch of potatoes on top of meat layer
- (OPTIONAL) garnish with black pepper
- back at 350°F Fahrenheit (convect bake at 325) until potatoes golden and meat bubbling (approx. 45 min.)
- add enough water to cover potatoes, add half teaspoon of salt
